Every member of the team, from our company President to project managers to electricians and apprentices are committed to providing a consistent, quality and customer focused experience.
Our company founder and President; Robert L Kent, is a seasoned industry veteran of some 50+ years. Robert began his career as an electricians helper wiring houses at the age of 15. He worked as an electrician in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. When he returned home, Robert continued to work in the only vocation he has ever known. Working his way through every position in the electrical field and then the office, Robert ultimately opened his own company. His experiences in the electrical industry and his invaluable knowledge provide the foundation upon which our company has grown. and he continues to provide the leadership that guides us today.
DATA POWER SOURCE takes safety seriously in any task that we perform. We are committed to providing a safe working environment whether it is a simple assignment at the office or a complex project involving multiple crews. No project is worth the safety and well being of any person involved in the project or not.
DATA POWER SOURCE maintains a comprehensive written safety program detailing company guidelines for safe work practices. All new hires are briefed on our safety program as well as provided with the required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Safety meetings are regularly conducted to keep employees aware of job site hazards as well as spot safety checks to ensure safety is on the minds of all parties. All employees are required to attend an 8 hour First Aid and CPR training course in an effort to be prepared in the event of an emergency. DATA POWER SOURE was also one of the first electrical companies in Atlanta to incorporate and implement NFPA 70E Arc Flash Hazard safety procedures into our training program. Over the last few years we have maintained an Experience Modification Rate of .86, .86 and .82 over the last three years, ensuring that no one is hurt on the job is our priority.
In an effort to further commit to a safe working environment for our employees and customers we have implemented a DRUG & ALCOHOL FREE WORKPLACE policy. Our policy includes drug & alcohol testing for all new hires as well as random testing of current employees and testing immediately after an accident. This is one more way that we can help make the workplace environment a safer place for everyone.
